StayFi pricing and reviews in 2026
StayFi is a guest WiFi and marketing platform for hosts and property managers: guests log in to a branded network, and you keep their contact details for your campaigns. It doesn't build a guidebook, so we looked at how WonderGuest works alongside it.
StayFi was founded in 2018 and bills per WiFi access point. The contact details it collects feed your email and text campaigns. After login, guests land on a HomePage of tiles and buttons that links to partner upsells and to your guidebook, built in Folio, Hostfully, Touch Stay or any other tool.

StayFi publishes no yearly plan, so its monthly price is shown over twelve months. WonderGuest takes 0% commission on its extras shop, included in the Pro plan. StayFi does not run its own shop: sales go through The Host Co store and a Viator tile, and StayFi does not publish The Host Co's commission. StayFi sells the hardware separately, from $99.00 for StayFi Express, and its price includes no guidebook, so these figures are not a like-for-like comparison. WonderGuest's US prices exclude sales tax; StayFi does not say whether its prices do.
Prices checked on September 14, 2026 · official pricing page
The cost block shows StayFi's monthly price over twelve months, because StayFi publishes no yearly plan. It bills per WiFi access point, month to month and in arrears, with a lower price per access point as you add more. For three properties, we counted three access points.
Those figures buy WiFi data capture, not a guidebook, which is why the block shows what WonderGuest costs rather than a saving. Replacing StayFi with WonderGuest wouldn't save you that money, because WonderGuest doesn't run guest WiFi or email marketing.
StayFi's price also leaves out the hardware at each property. StayFi Express and Aginet devices are sold separately, on top of the monthly fee.
If you use StayFi and want a guidebook, the real question is what to add, not what to replace. StayFi's HomePage links to Folio, Hostfully or Touch Stay, and a custom button can link to any other guidebook, WonderGuest included. The WonderGuest column shows what that guidebook costs for one and three properties.
StayFi's email marketing is free up to 200 contacts if you keep an active device or connect your PMS. StayFi doesn't say whether its prices include tax, and WonderGuest's US prices exclude sales tax.

The first seven rows are the ones hosts notice in a guidebook, and they're a tough fit for StayFi, which isn't one. Most read partial or not stated, because StayFi's HomePage points to content that lives in another tool.
Two rows are full. External links work through custom buttons that open a link or a document, and branding covers your logo, background image, font and button colors. Video and photos are partial, with a property photo tile and no documented video. Check-in instructions on video aren't documented at all, since the guidebook sits elsewhere. Check-in itself is a pre-arrival guest data form, with no ID check stated. Extras go through partner stores, and design means choosing and ordering tiles and adding buttons.
Further down, sharing is where StayFi matches a guidebook: guests reach the HomePage after the WiFi login, or by link, QR code, email or SMS. Translation, a free trial and exporting the HomePage aren't documented. To get started, StayFi imports properties from your PMS and offers a one-to-one demo.
Read this table as a map of what StayFi covers next to a guidebook, not as a head-to-head between two guidebooks.
A guidebook with hosted videos, not a page of links
StayFi's HomePage is where guests land after they log in to the WiFi. It holds tiles and buttons, including a guidebook link tile that points to a guide built elsewhere, in Folio, Hostfully or Touch Stay. StayFi doesn't document video beyond a property photo tile, and check-in instructions live in whichever tool you link to. WonderGuest is that guidebook. Check-in steps, house rules and local tips sit in one place, with videos hosted inside it, so a guest can watch how the lockbox opens without leaving the page. You can keep StayFi and link your WonderGuest guidebook from the HomePage.

An extras shop you run yourself
StayFi doesn't run its own shop. Its HomePage offers partner stores, The Host Co and a Viator tile, plus custom buttons that link out to wherever you already sell. StayFi doesn't publish what The Host Co keeps on each sale. The WonderGuest extras shop comes with the Pro plan and sells your own extras, such as a late checkout, a mid-stay cleaning or a welcome basket. You set each price, guests pay by card inside the guidebook, and WonderGuest takes 0% commission, minus Stripe's fees. If you also want partner offers, a custom button on your StayFi HomePage can still point to them.

A guidebook with no hardware to install
StayFi's data capture depends on hardware. Each property needs a WiFi access point, sold separately, before guests can log in and land on the HomePage, and StayFi bills per access point every month. Once the device is in place, reviewers describe setup as easy, and StayFi can import your properties from your PMS. WonderGuest needs no hardware at all. Paste an Airbnb listing link and a first guidebook is ready in under two minutes, then duplicate it for each property and share it by link or QR code. The two setups don't compete: the StayFi device and the WonderGuest link can serve the same property.

StayFi's reviews are strong and plentiful: 73 on Capterra, rated 5.0 out of 5, and 66 on Trustpilot, rated 4.8, when we checked. Almost all of them are about the WiFi login and email marketing, which is what StayFi sells.
Reviewers value the guest emails StayFi collects for later marketing, and one reports a clear lift in direct bookings across a portfolio in March 2025. Our Airbnb hosting tips cover other ways to move those numbers. A December 2025 review calls setup easy and the tool simple to use.
The limits are practical. Access point hardware costs a lot per unit, according to the same March 2025 reviewer. Another says the contact list needs manual cleanup after each export, and a third would like more ready-made email templates.
What the reviews don't cover is the guidebook, because StayFi doesn't build one. If you're reading them to choose a guidebook, look at the reviews of the tool your HomePage links to instead.

- 3Step 3
Link it from StayFi
In StayFi, add a custom button to your HomePage that points to your guidebook link. Guests find it right after they log in to the WiFi.
5 minutes
There's nothing to move away from here. StayFi keeps running your WiFi and email marketing, and WonderGuest becomes the guidebook your HomePage links to. Plan on under an hour per property.
Start with the listing import, which fills in photos, the description and amenities, or with our free welcome book template. Then add what a listing can't know: check-in steps, door codes, house rules and local tips. If your HomePage already links to a guide in another tool, keep that guide open and copy from it.
Film your check-in on your phone and upload the video to the guidebook, next to the written steps.
Last, open StayFi and add a custom button to your HomePage that points to your WonderGuest link. Guests will see it right after they log in to the WiFi. You can also send the same link in your booking messages, or print its QR code for the property.
WonderGuest support answers 7 days a week if you get stuck.
Our verdict: the alternative to StayFi
StayFi and WonderGuest do different jobs. StayFi runs guest WiFi and turns the contact details collected at login into email and SMS marketing. It does not build a guidebook: its HomePage links to one. WonderGuest is that guidebook, with hosted check-in videos, online check-in and a shop with no commission. If you use StayFi for marketing, keep it and link your WonderGuest guidebook from the HomePage.
Who should stay with StayFi
- You want a list of past guests for direct bookings: StayFi collects it through the WiFi login.
- You already run its access points and rely on the outage alerts.

Frequently asked questions
How much does StayFi cost?
StayFi starts at $19.00 a month per WiFi access point, with volume pricing: $14.00 each for two and $13.50 each for three or four, billed month to month in arrears. Hardware is extra: StayFi Express costs $99.00, and Aginet devices cost $139.00 to $284.00. Email marketing is free up to 200 contacts if you keep an active device or connect your PMS. Prices read on stayfi.com on September 14, 2026.
Is WonderGuest a StayFi alternative?
Not a replacement. StayFi runs guest WiFi and turns login details into email and SMS marketing, and WonderGuest does neither. What WonderGuest replaces is the guidebook StayFi's HomePage links to, with hosted check-in videos, online check-in on Pro and an extras shop that takes 0% commission. If you use StayFi for marketing, keep it and link your WonderGuest guidebook from the HomePage.
Do I need WiFi hardware for WonderGuest?
No. StayFi's data capture needs an access point at each property, sold separately from the monthly fee. WonderGuest is a web guidebook: guests open it from a link or QR code on their own phone, over cellular data or the WiFi you already have, with nothing to install on either side.
Is StayFi worth it?
It depends on what you need. StayFi collects guest names and emails through a branded WiFi login and uses them for email and SMS marketing, which can bring direct bookings. Its HomePage links to your guidebook, partner upsells and a book-again button. It does not build the guidebook itself, so you still need a guidebook tool.
Is StayFi a digital guidebook?
No. StayFi's HomePage has a guidebook link tile that points to a guidebook built elsewhere, and StayFi lists Folio, Hostfully and Touch Stay as guidebook integrations. A custom button on the HomePage can link to any other guidebook.
Can I use StayFi and WonderGuest together?
Yes. Keep StayFi for WiFi and marketing, and add a custom button on your StayFi HomePage that links to your WonderGuest guidebook. Your first WonderGuest guidebook is free with no time limit.
How did we compare the two?
For one and three properties over three years. StayFi bills per WiFi access point with hardware on top, and none of that buys a guidebook, so the page shows no yearly saving. Features come from StayFi's public pages and help center, read on September 14, 2026.
Can guests buy extras through StayFi or WonderGuest?
StayFi sends guests to partner stores, The Host Co and a Viator tile, or to custom buttons that link out, and it doesn't publish what The Host Co keeps. WonderGuest Pro includes a shop for your own extras, such as a late checkout or a welcome basket, paid by card inside the guidebook with 0% commission.
Will guests find the guidebook?
StayFi puts its HomePage in front of guests right after they log in to the WiFi, which makes it a good spot for a guidebook button. WonderGuest adds the usual routes: the link in your booking messages and a QR code at the property. With both, guests see the guidebook before they arrive and again once they connect.
How fast can I set up WonderGuest next to StayFi?
Under an hour per property. Paste your Airbnb listing link and a first guidebook is ready in under two minutes. Add your check-in steps, codes and local tips, then create a custom button on your StayFi HomePage that points to the guidebook, which takes about five minutes.
Can the guidebook match my StayFi branding?
Largely, yes. StayFi lets you set your logo, background image, font and button colors on the HomePage. A WonderGuest guidebook takes your logo and a cover photo, and Pro adds a color theme matched to your brand, so the HomePage and the guidebook can look consistent side by side.
What happens if I stop using WonderGuest?
You cancel from your account settings, and the service stays active until the end of the paid period. Your StayFi setup isn't affected either way: remove or change the custom button on your HomePage, and your WiFi login and email marketing keep running.
