Village of Four Seasons short-term rental rules
Section 32-37 of the Village of Four Seasons zoning code governs rentals in the R-1 single-family district. Transient guests cannot rent a building or land there for less than 31 consecutive days. The R-2 multiple-family district allows R-1 uses subject to every R-1 restriction. A transient guest is anyone renting for fewer than 31 days. Resorts are a permitted use in the C commercial district.[4]

Chapter 26 of the village code, on taxation, levies no lodging tax. Its single section exempts from local sales tax the titling of vehicles and boats not bought from a licensed state dealer.[6]
